Moon to Rise After 34 Years?

Organisers of this year’s London Olympics have reportedly invited the Who’s Keith Moon to perform at the closing ceremony, not realising drummer has been dead for 34 years.

According to the London Sunday Times, the band’s manager Bill Curbishley responded by email saying, “Keith now resides in Golders Green crematorium, having lived up to the Who’s anthemic line ‘I hope I die before I get old’. If they have a round table, some glasses and candles, we might contact him.”
Moon passed away on September 7, 1978 at the age of 32 after overdosing on prescription medicine.
